Post-surgical rehab

Surgery fixes the structure. Rehab restores the function. We follow your surgeon's protocol, adapt it to how you are actually healing, and keep them updated at every stage.

First visit
60 minutes, ideally within a week of surgery
Typical plan
8 to 24 visits depending on the procedure
Surgeon updates
Before every follow-up appointment

We start early, often within the first week after surgery, with gentle range-of-motion work and swelling control. Every visit is one-on-one with the same therapist so nothing gets lost between sessions.

As you progress we move into strength, balance, and the specific tasks you need back: stairs, getting off the floor, lifting a grandchild, a full squat.

We send progress notes to your surgeon before each follow-up, so you never have to remember what to report.

Before your first visit

Anything else, get in touch.

Do I need a referral?
No. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book straight in. Some insurance plans want a referral for coverage, and we will tell you if yours does.
Do you take my insurance?
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Send a photo of your card and we will check your benefits before your first visit.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in. Shorts for knee and hip problems, a tank or loose shirt for shoulders. We have changing rooms if you are coming from work.
How long is a session?
The first visit is 60 minutes. Follow-ups are 45 to 60 minutes and always one-on-one with the same therapist.
Will it hurt?
Some of it may be uncomfortable, none of it should be painful. You are in charge of the pace, and every technique is explained before it happens.

In pain today?

Call and we will find you the first open slot, often the same day.
