Chronic pain
Pain that lasts more than three months behaves differently from a fresh injury. It needs a different approach, and it is far more treatable than most people have been told.
- First visit
- 75 minutes
- Typical plan
- Weekly, tapering over 3 months
- Approach
- Movement first, explained in plain language
We start by listening. Most people with long-standing pain have a folder of scans and a list of things that did not work. We read all of it and then look at how you move today.
Treatment combines graded movement, education about how pain actually works, and hands-on care when it helps. Progress is measured in what you can do, not just how it feels.
You will not be told it is in your head. You will not be told to just live with it.

Before your first visit
Anything else, get in touch.
- Do I need a referral?
- No. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book straight in. Some insurance plans want a referral for coverage, and we will tell you if yours does.
- Do you take my insurance?
- We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Send a photo of your card and we will check your benefits before your first visit.
- What should I wear?
- Something you can move in. Shorts for knee and hip problems, a tank or loose shirt for shoulders. We have changing rooms if you are coming from work.
- How long is a session?
- The first visit is 60 minutes. Follow-ups are 45 to 60 minutes and always one-on-one with the same therapist.
- Will it hurt?
- Some of it may be uncomfortable, none of it should be painful. You are in charge of the pace, and every technique is explained before it happens.
