Manual therapy

Manual therapy uses skilled hands-on techniques to restore motion and reduce pain. It is rarely the whole plan, but it is often what gets the plan moving.

First visit
60 minutes
Dry needling
Available, always optional
Typical plan
4 to 8 visits

Joint mobilisation, soft tissue work, and dry needling are the main tools. We use them to unlock the range you need, then give you the exercise to keep it.

Every technique is explained before it happens and nothing is done without your say-so. If something is uncomfortable, say so and we change approach.

Most people feel a difference in the first session and a lasting change within three or four.

Before your first visit

Anything else, get in touch.

Do I need a referral?
No. Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book straight in. Some insurance plans want a referral for coverage, and we will tell you if yours does.
Do you take my insurance?
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Send a photo of your card and we will check your benefits before your first visit.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in. Shorts for knee and hip problems, a tank or loose shirt for shoulders. We have changing rooms if you are coming from work.
How long is a session?
The first visit is 60 minutes. Follow-ups are 45 to 60 minutes and always one-on-one with the same therapist.
Will it hurt?
Some of it may be uncomfortable, none of it should be painful. You are in charge of the pace, and every technique is explained before it happens.

In pain today?

Call and we will find you the first open slot, often the same day.
